But as John said, without Act 2- There is no story at all... as the stone is rolled away- the true mission is revealed and hope continues 2000 & 24 years later in the hearts of all who believe and re-live this well known story-
But shown New again; through his favorite one; John.
"The Thorn" isn't your average play. It's a full-on theatrical wake-up for the senses, a dazzling fusion of music, dance, acrobatics, and pyrotechnics that retells the story of Jesus' ministry, passion, and resurrection.

The Creation of The Thorn actually begins in Colorado Springs; so for those in attendance at the Pikes Peak Center- It was Special
As all in attendance experienced:
Immersive Storytelling: The show throws you right into the heart of the action. Prepare to be wowed by high-energy dance numbers depicting everything from the joyous crowds welcoming Jesus to Jerusalem to the harrowing betrayal by Judas. The use of multimedia backdrops adds another layer of depth, transporting you to different scenes in the blink of an eye.
Intense Portrayal: This isn't a sugar-coated portrayal of the crucifixion. The suffering is palpable, with powerful acting and special effects that don't shy away from the brutality. Be aware, especially if you're bringing young children, that this portion of the show can be intense.
Moving Music: The music is a highlight, ranging from soaring choruses to mournful ballads. It perfectly complements the emotions on stage, leaving you both uplifted and contemplative.
A Few Caveats: The show is loud. Like, subwoofer-in-your-chest loud. And the pyrotechnics are impressive, but it could be a bit much for those with sensory sensitivities.
Overall: "The Thorn" is a powerful and unforgettable experience. It's not just for the devout; the show's artistic merit and emotional resonance will appeal to a wide audience.
Just be prepared to be shaken, stirred, and maybe even shed a tear or two...
and as My 11 year old son continued saying - hours after the Live Show:
"It has me really thinking"
