This was a match made in rock and roll heaven. As a slight wind blew through the cavern prior, fans were in for an unforgettable night. With a lineup boasting the legendary Sammy Hagar, the deep bass prowess of Michael Anthony,the guitar wizardry of Joe Satriani, and the thunderous drumming of Jason Bonham, expectations were sky-high. This supergroup, a fusion of rock titans, promised a sonic experience that would shake the very foundations of Red Rocks.

From the moment the first chords rang out, the crowd was transported to a rock and roll utopia. From the opening chords & drill of “Poundcake,” the crowd was electrified. Hagar explained that all it took was 2 phone calls to make this dream a reality. Those in the crowd were grateful for this homage to the late great Eddie Van Halen and each member's contribution to Rock n Roll on their own terms, was well thought out.. in respect to all original creators.

Hagar kissed the sacred ground of Red Rocks as the song Eagles Fly set the mood of the gratefulness the band shown on their faces: To be able to simply do what they love best: Create music that shaped multiple generations. The party atmosphere was like a house party as Hagar served up tequila to the guests in Red Rocker party cups! -- "This one's for Eddie" but it was truly for us all!
